Dr. Fred Kagy Endowed Fund for Professional Development in Graphic Communications
The Dr. Fred Kagy Endowed Fund for Professional Development in Graphic Communications helps cover educational expenses such as tuition, professional development, or travel expenses to support a positive outcome related to an internship experience for a student majoring in Graphic Communications. Dr. Frederick D. Kagy was recognized, not only in Central Illinois, but nationally and internationally as a craftsman, educator, author, mentor, consultant, printer, and photographer. He was hired by Illinois State University in 1965 as the coordinator of the Graphic Arts Instruction program in the Department of Industrial Technology (now named the Department of Technology). Family, colleagues, and friends established this endowed fund as a tribute to his legacy and his strong commitment to the professional development of students majoring in Graphic Communications at Illinois State.
Claude Bell Endowed Scholarship in Technology
The Dr. Claude Bell Endowed Scholarship in Technology was established in 2017 in honor of Dr. Bell by his daughter, Barb Lundgren, and close friend and colleague, Joe Talkington. The scholarship will support an incoming freshman or undergraduate student in good standing majoring in the Department of Technology.

The Safety Program Excellence Fund will be used to keep the Safety Program relevant and on the cutting edge. This fund supports the highest priority initiatives for educating students and advancing best practices in safety, and is critical to expanding the national reputation and excellence of the Safety Program and its students. The fund will be used to provide student scholarship and general operating support for the Safety program.

Ed Wells Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Justice
The Dr. Ed Wells Memorial Scholarship in Criminal Justice was established in 2016 by family, colleagues, and friends of Dr. Wells. The Scholarship provides financial support to an undergraduate student majoring in criminal justice, who has completed a minimum of 45 credit hours and at least one semester at Illinois State. Preference will be given to a student with financial need. Dr. Wells dedicated his life work to demonstrated commitment and concern about fairness in society and among/between people.

Peter V. Vitucci Memorial Scholarship
This endowment was established in 1992 by family and friends in memory of Peter Vitucci, a 1991 graduate of Illinois State University. The scholarship is awarded to a senior level student with the intent to work in the criminal justice field. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The Peter V. Vitucci Memorial Scholarship was established in 1992 by family and friends in memory of Peter Vitucci, a 1991 graduate of Illinois State University. The scholarship is awarded to a senior level student with the intent to work in the criminal justice field.
Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship
Lois R. Jett established this fund in October 2005 to provide financial assistance to a student majoring in apparel, fashion merchandising/design, or related arts represented in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Applicants must maintain a 3.7 GPA. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in October 2005. Lois R. Jett earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from the University of Illinois- Urbana in 1955 and a master's degree in Home Economics Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1959. After graduation, she taught high school home economics for 6 years. She came to Illinois State University in 1962 and worked in the Dept. of Family and Consumer Sciences until retiring as Assistant Professor in 1989. She was also instrumental in establishing the Lois Jett Historical Costume Collection.

Construction Management Advancement Fund
The Construction Management program was established in 1996 as an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science program that prepares professionals to manage building projects to completion. The purpose of the fund is to support student, faculty, and volunteer expenses incurred for advancing the goals of the Construction Management Program. Covered expenses may be but are not limited to: travel funds for students participating in national and regional competitions, student scholarships and professional certification reimbursement, faculty professional development, advisory board meeting expenses, and events such as, freshmen orientation, placement events and the Commencement reception.
William P. LaBounty Endowed Fund in Graphic Communications
The William P. LaBounty Endowed Fund in Graphic Communications was established by William LaBounty in 2011 to assist the graphic communications program with funding for equipment, student expenses related to attending conferences, and other needs. William grew up in a family bookbinding business, Stappenbeck Bookbindery. From the time he was in junior high school through his college years he worked summers in all areas of bookbinding. In 1974 he received a master's degree from Illinois State University in Industrial Technology. He retired from Illinois State University in 1993 as director of Printing Services where he was responsible for all printing, copying, and duplicating on campus. He was a member of and held most board positions in both the Central Illinois Chapter of Printing House Craftsmen and the Lincoln Land Chapter of the International Publishing Management Association.

This endowment was established in 1978 by Lois Jett. These funds are used to help to maintain the collection of costumes and fashion samples for the department. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. Funds are to benefit the Lois R. Jett Endowed Scholarship Fund should the historic costume collection ever be eliminated from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Doris E. Henderson Endowed Scholarship in the School of Kinesiology and Recreation
Doris Henderson was interested in only one thing as child and that was to compete in sports and one day become a physical education teacher. She completed a B.S. in physical education at the Champaign/Urbana campus of the University of Illinois in 1954. She earned a master's of arts degree from Northwestern University in 1960. In the 60's she pursued additional post-graduate studies specializing in curriculum and instruction at Illinois State University. Later she became a member of the Illinois State University women's physical education staff. Doris continued her athletic pursuits and was the Midwest Badminton Champion in ladies singles in 1964.

The Construction Management Program was established at Illinois State University in 1996 to meet the needs of Illinois and the nation for leaders and professional managers in the construction industry. The purpose of the fund is to support student, faculty, and volunteer expenses incurred for the purpose of advancing the goals of the Construction Management Program so gradates are prepared to assume leadership positions in commercial, residential, and specialty construction.
Tricia Widner Johnson Memorial Scholarship
Tricia Widner Johnson was a beloved faculty member in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Illinois State University. Tricia passed away suddenly in 2011 at the relatively young age of 36, leaving behind a husband and three sons. Tricia was an associate professor, a wonderful teacher, an inspiring mentor, and an expert in the area of clothing and consumer behavior. She also served as the director of the Lois Jett Historical Costume Collection, obtaining software to catalog the collection, designing new storage facilities with temperature and humidity control, and working with students using it for their internship and independent study projects. Tricia also served as advisor to the Apparel, Merchandising, and Design Association's registered student organization and their annual fashion show. The love and admiration Tricia's students had for her led them to initiate this scholarship for students within the apparel, merchandising, and design sequence at ISU.
David Kephart Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Information Technology
The David Kephart Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in August 2011 as a tribute to Dave's legacy and strong commitment to the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University. Dave was a professor in the Applied Computer Science Department for 18 years. During that time he taught a larger variety of classes than any faculty member in the history of the department. While at the University, he was involved in many major consulting projects, often working on-site for corporate clients in Central Illinois and the Chicago area. He also taught seminars and courses for business and government clients. The purpose of this scholarship is to help School of Information Technology majors through financial assistance.
Jan Cook Scholarship
Under the leadership of Carol Chrisman, this endowment was established by colleagues and friends to honor Janet M. Cook in 2001. She was a founding member in the School of Information Technology, taught from 1968-1998, and was an expert on computer security. Each candidate must be enrolled full-time as an information technology major, have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours at ISU immediately prior to application for the scholarship, have earned at least six hours of information technology coursework (including one programming course), and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.0. Preference will be given to women and minorities. Service as a volunteer campus or community committee member is also a consideration. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. Under the leadership of Carol Chrisman, the Jan Cook Scholarship was established by colleagues and friends to honor Janet M. Cook in 2001. Heinz Russelmann Scholarship
This endowment was established in 1992 by Heinz Russelmann and friends in the Department of Health Sciences. He was a faculty member from 1976-1995. The scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior student majoring in environmental health with a commitment to excellence and to the profession. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. Heinz Russelmann was a Health Sciences faculty member from 1976 to 1995. This scholarship was established to honor his commitment to excellence and to the environmental health profession. It recognizes students majoring in Environmental Health who are leaders and active in program, professional, or community activities.
Kris and George Byrns Environmental Health Discovery Endowed Scholarship
The Kris and George Byrns Environmental Health Discovery Endowed Scholarship provides support to students who are pursuing a degree in environmental health. Byrns spent 25 years working in environmental health with the USPHS Indian Health Service before becoming a faculty member of the Illinois State University Department of Health Sciences in 1999. Like many undergraduate students, Dr. Byrns had several declared majors before discovering the environmental health program at Colorado State University.
Jennifer Wood Medical Laboratory Science Scholarship
The Jennifer Wood Medical Laboratory Science Scholarship supports a junior or senior with a declared major in Medical Laboratory Science who plans to complete professional practice in the next 12 months. Jennifer Wood graduated from Illinois State in 1997 with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.

College of Applied Science and Technology Student Success Center
College of Applied Science and Technology Student Success Center will support CAST students through high-impact student success practices such as, targeted tutoring sessions, enhanced referral to existing campus support resources, opportunities to interact with professionals with similar backgrounds, and professional development in areas focused on relational and financial topics. The Student Success Center will also be dedicated to enhancing the individualized attention provided to CAST students, including our first-generation and underrepresented students, to improve their access to strategies that are proven to lead to retention, graduation, and upward mobility.

The College of Applied Science and Technology Student Persistence Fund was established in 2019 with a transfer from the CAST General Fund. The fund was created to encourage and support deserving students in the College of Applied Science and Technology with demonstrated need and/or high academic achievement.
Maurine Corsaut Clinical Laboratory Science Scholarship
This endowment was established by Maurine Corsaut when she retired from the Department of Health Sciences. She taught at Illinois State University from 1970-1990. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time student at the junior or senior level, majoring in clinical laboratory science. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The Maurine Corsaut Clinical Laboratory Science Scholarship was established by friends and family of Maurine Corsaut when she retired from the Department of Health Sciences. She taught at Illinois State University from 1970-1990. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time student at the junior or senior level, majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science.
ISU Child Care Center
The mission of the Illinois State University Child Care Center is to provide high quality, developmental childcare services in a safe, nurturing, and diverse learning environment for preschool children of ISU students, faculty, and staff, ages 3-5. The Center serves as a working illustration of early childhood best practices by collaborating with families, the University, and community, all while utilizing the best current research and practice within the early childhood profession. The Illinois State Child Care Center Fund supports the programs, operations, facilities, equipment and technology associated with the Center.

The Dr. John Gary Erisman Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 by Dr. Allen Erisman. The scholarship supports a student accepted for enrollment or enrolled in good standing in Agriculture in the College of Applied Sciences and Technology at Illinois State University. Preference is given to a student who plans to pursue a career in farming. Scholarship may also be awarded to a student who plans to work in an agriculture related industry.

Mary Alice Behling Women's Scholarship in Kinesiology and Recreation
The Mary Alice Behling Scholarship in Kinesiology and Recreation was established in 2010 by Mary Alice Behling to provide financial assistance to a full-time undergraduate student in the School of Kinesiology and Recreation. Preferences will be given to students majoring in physical education teacher education. From a very early age it was evident that Mary Alice was interested in physical activity of all types, was well-coordinated, and very competitive. When expressing an interest in becoming a physical education teacher, Illinois State University was recommended as the best choice. Upon completing her undergraduate work Mary Alice taught high school and junior high school and coached softball and field hockey. She continued her own education by earning a master's degree and her Ph.D. in physical education, completing her career as a full professor at The University of Northern Colorado.
The Dr. Kristian "KP" Philpotts Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Kristian "KP" Philpotts Memorial scholarship was created by his mother, Marla Rice, in memory of "KP". He was on his way to becoming a veterinarian before his life was tragically taken due to gun violence. "KP" had a love and passion for caring for animals his entire life and this scholarship will help other students fulfill their dream of becoming a veterinarian (preferred); a student who wants to work closely with animals; or a student in the general agriculture field.

The Dr. Thomas Ellsworth Family Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice Sciences was established in May 2023 by his daughter, Jodi Ellsworth, to honor her father's legacy as Department Chair and Emeriti Professor in Criminal Justice Sciences from 1978-2003.
Danielle Fairchild Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Danielle had a love for visual creativity, and she wanted to combine that with her passion for nutrition through food art therapy. The Bob and JoAnn Navarro Scholarship was established by Robert Navarro and Cassie Kohrt to honor their parents, Bob and JoAnn Navarro. It will be for a first-generation student (preferred) from LaSalle, Ogle, Winnebago or Will Counties. It can be for a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior. The scholarship will reside in the Dean's office and can be given to any who is a major in the College of Applied Science and Technology.
Jim Knisley Memorial Scholarship for Mainframe Excellence
The Jim Knisley Memorial Scholarship for Mainframe Excellence was established by his close friends and family in his memory. Jim had a long and successful career working on IBM mainframe technology at several companies including BMC Software and IBM. He was also very service oriented, serving in the US Navy, as an EMT, and participating in medical mission trips to Haiti. This scholarship will go to a Sophomore, Junior or Senior that has a deep interest in the mainframe, but also embodies Jim's passion for community service.

The The Dr. Jan and Scott Murphy Faculty Staff Professional Development Fund was established by Dr. Jan and Scott Murphy in order to allow extra funds to be available for faculty and staff to pursue their educational opportunities.

The Weis Builders Endowed Scholarship was established by Chad Weis of Weis Builders, Inc. to support a US Citizen and Resident of IL with financial need for a scholarship in construction management.
Brick Scholarship in Physical Education
The Barbara Anne Brick Scholarship in Physical Education was established by Barbara Anne Brick in order to financially support PE majors at the Freshman, Sophomore and Junior level of study.
