Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts General Fund
The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts General Fund supports the activities, programs and operations associated with the the College.The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts is home of the Wonsook Kim School of Art, School of Music, School of Theatre and Dance, Arts Technology Program, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and University Galleries. Programs support students in all areas of study: music, theatre, and dance performance, composition, music therapy and music education, visual art and design, art history, and interactive media.
Friends of the Arts Scholarship
It is the intent of the anonymous donor to benefit a student in fine arts with a scholarship. Qualifications: student must be a full time student at ISU; have a financial need; and be majoring in art, music, or theatre. Student should be a freshman or sophomore and could receive the scholarship for up to two years. Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. The Friends of the Arts Scholarship was initially established by an anonymous donor in 1990 to benefit a student in fine arts with a scholarship. Qualifications: student must be a full time student at ISU; have a financial need; and be majoring in art, music, or theatre. Student should be a freshman or sophomore and could receive the scholarship for up to two years.
Friends of the Arts Fund
Need Purpose Assets of this endowment are invested in the Illinois State University Endowment Investment Pool. Friends of the Arts fund was established in June 2002. The purpose of the fund is to provide student scholarships and general support for programs and priorities of the College. The Friends of the Arts group consist of alumni and friends of the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts whose primary goal is the help promote Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts programs, foster an appreciation of the fine arts, and raise funds for special projects.
Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts Strategic Initiatives Endowment
The Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts Strategic Initiatives Endowment will be funded beginning in 2020 with an initial gift of $500,0000 and additional gifts in 2021 through 2025 and $1 million annual gifts in 2026 through 2028. The Endowment will provide funds for College-wide priorities as determined by the Dean of the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts. Expenses include, but are not limited to, scholarships, faculty and student research, equipment, domestic and international travel, exhibitions, artist residencies, lectures, working at archaeological and conservation sites, concerts, multimedia presentations, theatre and dance productions, University Galleries programming, faculty and student awards.
Eggan Family ISF Youth Programs Fund
This fund was established to honor the Eggan Family's longtime involvement and support of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival at Illinois State University, and Larry's many years of faithful service as an ISF Board Member. The fund will support productions and educational outreach initiatives directed towards young audiences, promoting active engagement with the works of William Shakespeare.
